आध्यात्म

कैसा है मानव स्वभाव
अमूर्त को
कर देता है मूर्त
ज्ञान से बना दिए शास्त्र
समय को बना दिया घडी
अशरीर की घड़ ली मूर्तियाँ
अपनी सुविधा हेतु
उद्देश्य गलत नहीं
साध्य को पाने
साधन जो चाहिए
किन्तु मान बैठा वो
साधन को साध्य........

इन्द्रियां पहचानती है
स्थूल को
जो दीख सकता है
सामान्यतः
किन्तु उसे भी नहीं
जाना जा सकता पूर्णतः
एवम सूक्ष्म रूप :
उसे तो जानने और पहचानने की
क्षमता इन्द्रियों को नहीं
अदृश्य को कैसे देखे मानव ?
किन्तु नहीं देख पाना
अस्तित्व का नहीं होना तो नहीं…………

अधिकांश निर्णय होते हैं हमारे
आधारित मूर्त पर
क्यों ना हम समग्र निर्णय की
प्रणाली को अपनाएं
मूर्त को भी विचार करें
अमूर्त पर भी सोचें
स्थूल को भी जाने
सूक्ष्म को भी मानें
शारीर को भी स्वीकारे
आत्मा के अस्तित्व को भी
अंगीकार करें
जीवन की समग्र एवम् संपूर्ण
स्वीकृति ही तो
आध्यात्म है............

दान.............(Geeta Se)

दिया जाये जो कर्त्तव्य भाव से
उचित समय, उपयुक्त स्थान
पात्र सुपात्र चुनना है
प्रतिफल की नहीं आस है मुझको
दान सात्विक कहलाता है..........

प्रतिफल की आस लिए है
भविष्य की आकांक्षा है
क्लेश होता जिस दान से
वह दान राजसिक कहलाता है ...........

गलत जगह हो वक़्त गलत हो
पात्र कुपात्र हो जिस में
दिया जो बिना समारोह के
तिरस्कार जिसमें हो शामिल
ऐसा दान मित्रों मेरे
दान तामसिक कहलाता है .........


(गीता में तीन प्रकार के दान बताएं हैं (अध्याय १६ श्लोक २०,२१ और २२ ). सात्विक दान अपनाना शुभ है , राजसिक दान हम लोग करते हैं किन्तु क्लेश ही पातें हैं प्रतिदान में. आजकल तामसिक दान का बोलबाला है जो सिवा दुखों और रूहानी गिरावट के कुछ नहीं हासिल कराता.. थोडा सोचें तो हमें तीनो प्रकार के दानों के भेद समझ में आ जायेंगे और हम निसंदेह सात्विक दान की बात को अपनाएंगे.)

Yah humen apne men jhankne ko prerit karta hai….atam-santulan ka awahan kar raha hai. Aek ukti hai, “Nij par shashan fir anushashan.” Hamara sarvadhik ‘neglected’ pahlu “swa’ hi hota hai. Bahut dafa hum “aham” ko agyanvash “swa” ka prayay samajh baith.te hain aaur khud ko aise raston par bhatka dete hain jahan se loutna mushkil hota hai.

Manushya ka mastisk srijanta ki shakti se sampann hone ke saath hi chanchalta aevan shanshay ke shrap se bhi grasit hai. Aek santulit aaur jagrook mastisk hamara param mitra hota hai aaur iske viparit avastha men hone wala mastisk hamara param shatru sidh hota hai. Swayam ka utthan karne ke saath hum doosron ke prati prem aaur pravah (care) rakh kar hum unke saath vicharon aevam anubhuti ka tadatmya sthapit karte hain jo sahaz roop se unhe mansik shanty pahunchata hai.

Ardhang....

Lagbhag do hazar varsh pahile Tamil Mahakavi Elangovan ne, jo aek Boudh Bhikshu bhi the, ‘Shilappdikaram’ namak maha-kavya ki rachna ki jismen manviya smbandhon, aaur prem trikon ki baat hai…purush hai Vyavsayi Kovlan, do nariyan hain Madhavi (veshya) aaur Kannagi ( Kovlan ki patni). Madhavi kalantar men mansik avsad(depression) se grasit ho jati hai. Madhavi Elangovan ko apni baat kahti hai jo isi kavya par aadharit Amrit Lal Nagar ji ke upanyas ‘Suhag Ke Nupur’ ka samapan kathya hai. Prastut kavita Madhavi ke us kathan ko abhivyakt kar rahi hai.

a loveful place
be it victoria memorial
be it central park
be it rabindra sarobar
or be it minto park
love blooms
love floats
a tender touch
a romantic dialogue
hopes ifuse life
smallest is beautiful
a vibrating calcutta i know.


a rebel
with tolerance
one moment
there is protest
anotrher moment
recociliation
people see the protest
react to the protest
reconciliation is lost
behind the words printed
or within the words spoken
and
Nano goes away.

a place fond of issues
out of non issues
be it a small scuffle between
a cabbie and a policeman
or bhikari paswan lost and not found
or land given for projects
or polluting autos
big sister is always found
with flamebuyont voice
and zeal to do something
for nothing
and bleeds calcutta
cries kolkata.

clerks carrying
heaps of diaries and calenders
counting their achievements
till february
still having a feel of happy new year
a bharh of sweet tea
with an antique biskit
taking time
longer than the
qantity and urge
taken together..........
as 'somayta to kat-te hobe."

a place where
nonchristians are more fond of
Christmas
can see a majority of
unseen faces in durga puja
can enjoy the site
of simayain and khazoors during Ramdan
at zakaria,park circus, khiddirpore,matiaburz.....
running mourners of moharram
shouting slogans in the way of michhil(juloos)
or a body being taken to burning ghat
the 'Haribol' is spoken
like Inqlab Zindabad...Zindabad
a real cosmopolitan
character.

the garam luchhi and dum aloo
mouth watering puchkas
the jhalmuri and ghughani with speciality
kathi rolls of nizam
biryani of royal and aminiya
lembu cha
mughlai and chop
bengali version of chinese
authentic mandarin at Tengra
poor, middle-class and rich
enjoying together
this the spirit of city of joy
can never fade...can never fade.
