Pahad aurGilhari men,
Hua tha fasad.
Pahad tha gussaya,
Apni bulandi par itraya.
Keh dala tha gilhari ko:
'Aek adna khudparast'.
Gilhari ne ahista se diya jawab:
"Beshaque aap ho bade bahut,
Magar,
Har tarha ki shai aur mausam ki,
Hoti hai jarurat,
Baras ke banane men aur,
Jahan ko basane men bhi.
Aur mein nahin sochti,
Hai koi tauhin,
Adna hone men.
Gar mein aap jaisi badi nahin..to,
Nahin hai chhote aap bhi meri manind,
Aur nahin hai furtile mujh se.
Mein nahin kar rehi inkar,
Aap muhaiya karten mujhko,
Aek sundar si pagdandi.
Liyakat aur takat men,
Hoten hai fark,
Khuda ne sab ko banaya hai,
Aeksi mohabbat aur karam se,
Sabhi ko di hai makul jagahen,
Aausaf aur aukaten.
Han mein apni peeth par,
Janglat ko nahin de sakti makam,
Magar aap bhi nahin,
Tod sakte ek nanhi si badam.
